Hi, I'm Sam

I have invented, designed and built things all my life and have worked as a self employed cabinet maker and carpenter in and around Bristol since the year 2000.

As a furniture designer and maker I enjoy solving problems creatively, making furniture and storage solutions that work in difficult places; that have unique features, or use unusual materials.

I graduated with a BA(Hons) in 3D and furniture design 25 years ago and soon after, settled in Bristol as self employed cabinet maker. I work mostly in wood and sheet materials, and I also like to incorporate timber from reclaimed furniture and other sources where possible.

If you have an alcove at home that needs shelving, a wardrobe or cupboards. Or an under-stairs area that requires a storage solution. Maybe there is a piece of furniture you’re looking for but can’t find. Or if there’s something you are interested in from the Personal projects page, please do get in touch.

You can give me a call, drop me an email, WhatsApp or text. I’m always happy to discuss a project and offer ideas and a free quotation. Generally I will try and give an estimate on costs in early discussions and then draw up designs and ideas with scale sketches, before working through with you to a final design and fixed quote
